Councillor Ken Avey dies

Posted by: Adam Long , June 26, 2014

Ken Avey, town and district councillor and former town mayor has passed away. Councillor Ken Avey had been the ward councillor for Epping Hemnall since 2011 and also a parish councillor for Epping Town Council. Chairman of the Council, Councillor Tony Boyce said: “It is sad to hear the loss of yet another Councillor. Ken worked extremely hard for his constituents and we Councillors knew that once he had an issue he would not let the subject go until he achieved his goal. His death is a sad loss to us all.”
